Multi-engine Rating

To fly an aircraft with more than one engine, a pilot requires a multi-engine rating.

With a multi-engine rating, a person may:

  • Exercise the privileges of their licence in a multi-engine aircraft

PREREQUISITES:

    • Education: Millennium requires a high school diploma or an equivalent secondary school completion.
    • Age: Must be at least 18 years.
    • Medical: Category 1 Aviation Medical required.

Course Length:

    • Anticipate 1 week full-time, 3- 4 weeks part-time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Complete a flight test in a multi-engine aircraft

Although there are no minimum experience requirements for this rating, we find that pilots will take; on average, about 10 hours of flight instruction to prepare for the flight test
